Thanks to our riders, and business and organizational partnerships, your statewide public transportation system, DART First State, has been recognized and acknowledged many times over the years with several state and national awards. We are pleased that these awards have also brought national recognition to the State of Delaware and its residents. In 2008, DART has been recognized again nationally with awards from the Federal Transit Administration and the American Public Transportation Association, both based in Washington, DC.
