Fares must be exact change, an agency ticket, or paid with a DARTCard. Fares are good for a one-way trip only. New Castle County
All fixed-route buses (except for routes 32, 62-64, 301 and 305). Routes 32 and 62-64 have a special cash fare of 25 cents. See Intercounty fares for routes 301 and 305. Valid SEPTA Weekly and Monthly TrailPasses are acceptable as fares on all DART bus trips within Northern New Castle County.
Kent and Sussex Counties
All fixed-route bus trips are one zone except for some trips on route 303. See zone map for zone boundary.
InterCounty Fares
Applies to Routes 301 and 305. See zone map for zone boundaries.
* Cash fares must be paid with exact change using coins and $1.00 bills only. Drivers do not carry change. Daily Passes must be purchased on the bus and can be paid with cash or by using a DARTCard and are valid for unlimited rides on local buses. Please request a Daily Pass from driver BEFORE paying fare.
** Reduced Fare - Medicare Card or DART First State Reduced Fare ID card is required for payment of Reduced Fares or use of prepaid Reduced Fare DARTCard. Reduced Fares are for people who are age 65 & over, or who have a certified disability. Get the application here. For more information, call 1-800-553-DART. *** When accompanied by a fare-paying customer, otherwise regular fare applies. No more than two children free per fare-paying customer. **** The 3-Zone Daily Pass acts as an "Anywhere Pass" enabling its users to travel an unlimited number of zones and trips on that date on all buses within the State. Transfers will not be issued. The best value is a Daily Pass if you ride more than two buses per day. Even greater discounts can be realized when you use a DARTCard to purchase a daily pass. |
